locals. During summer the restaurant is open daily with food and drinks carefully prepared with inspiration from medieval recipes. In the beginning the building only had one floor and was used for administrative purposes and storage, but by the end of the century a second floor was added which to this day is still used for grand feasts. The stables and servants\u2019 residence, which today contains kitchen and office, were built during the 18th century and are unique within the walls of Visby. The oldest part of Kapitelhusg\u00e5rden that is still in use dates from the 12th century and is located under the kitchens. Here we still host parties, meetings and feasts to this day.<\/p>\n<p>After the reformation the place stood unused and deteriorated until Gotland\u2019s Museum at the beginning of the 1990\u2019s began to host educational activities for children which continued until 2008 when the restaurant that is here today was established.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
